David Carl Wallace, 1700 Ranch Road, Warsaw, will be one of 39 students from Valparaiso University attending one of the school's Overseas Study Centers in Cambridge, England, and Reutlingen, Germany, for this fall semester.

Akron will have four new teachers when school resumes in the fall. Those named to fill teaching vacancies at that school are: Phil Parker, a former WRSW announcer and Warsaw High School instructor; Mary Lou Huber, of Saratoga; Charles Henderson, a graduate of Indiana University and Mary Yeger, of Lagro.

A monster toboggan slide from the roof of the new Buttermilk Point Hotel annex will be constructed under plans announced today by the management. The annex, with 14 suites, for summer resorters, was erected at a considerable cost this spring. Improvements costing $5,000 are planned. The toboggan will be unusually steep.
