"Buddy" Howe, aged about 4 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. Newton Howe, and grandson of Harry Rowan, Winona Lake, was fishing in the canal at Winona on Saturday when he caught a 2-pound bass. The youngster took an old fishing pole with a short fishing line, used a stone as a sinker and an old rusty fishing hook with a cricket to make his fine catch. He landed the fish by himself after some effort.
