A strange thing happened when workers with G&G Hauling were finishing up demolition of the freshman lot in Warsaw. After tearing out the concrete floor near the gym and old school, workers found a wallet, with identification belonging to John David Richards. Also in the wallet were a 1964-65 season ticket to Warsaw high school basketball, and an employee card for R.R. Donnelley. No money was in the wallet, and attempts to locate the man were unsuccessful, according to a spokesman for the company.

Dr. J.B. Mishler was honored as "Pierceton's Outstanding Citizen of the Year" at a banquet held last night in the Pierceton School. Presenting the plaque from the Chamber of Commerce and merchants was Richard (Dick) Pletcher, past president of the merchants and master of ceremonies for the program, which is the first of a planned annual affair. Dr. Mishler, a practicing physician in Pierceton since 1956, was cited for his dedication and contribution to the community.
