    Tippecanoe Valley High School students respond to the question, "Should drug testing be a routine examination in hiring procedures?"

Taylor Whitaker (freshman) - "I think it should be the individual's choice. If they want it done, let them go ahead and do it. If not, then they shouldn't have to." Katina Banghart (freshman) - "I think that they should because of all the train and plane wrecks that are happening. I think drug testing should be mandatory."

    Mrs. Michael Arnolt, the former Vicki Fuller, of Miller, has recently completed her Ph.D. from the School of Education, Indiana State University in Terre Haute.

The daughter of Mrs. Arlo (Inez) Beiswanger, Milford, she graduated from Milford High School in 1963, and received her B.A. in 1967 and an M.A. in 1970 from Ball State University.

    Mrs. B.H. Truman, of this city, was re-appointed Spiritual Life chairman of the Missionary Society of the Fort Wayne Baptist Association for the coming year. This will be the fourth year she has served in this capacity. Mrs. Truman, who is a member of the Oswego Baptist church, has served as an officer or department chairman of the association for the past 29 years.

    The Strand Theatre, in addition to its moving picture entertainment, is preparing to install a stage for vaudeville purposes, and expects to have it finished this week.

"I'm going to add vaudeville," said manager Paikos, "and I expect to book the best vaudeville talent I can obtain. Our stage will be installed this week. With my good pictures The Strand entertainments will always be worth the money." [[In-content Ad]]
