At 11 p.m. Monday, a belling was held for newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Orval Johnston, Warsaw. The Johnstons, aware that they would be taken for a ride, went to the movies, and sat in the middle section, right in the middle of the row, so their friends couldn’t get to them. The theater-goers, thinning out after the first movie, left plenty of space to get the newlyweds out. They were practically dragged from the theatre and shoved into the back of a pick-up truck, where they huddled, too frightened to move.
