Sun Metal Co. of Warsaw plans expansion to a portion of the vacant building which once housed I & M Manufacturing in Bourbon. The firm plans to manufacture bicycle wheels and employ 50 people the first year.

Ernie and Betty Vrenios, popular husband and wife comedy team with the Wagon Wheel Playhouse, will have leading roles in “Wonderful Town,” opening tonight, Aug. 24 through Sept. 6 (Labor Day), bringing to an end the most successful season in Wagon Wheel's history. The closing show will feature the traditional excerpts from all the 1965 productions. Karen Johnson, playing Ruth, is a regular member of the company who scored a real hit as Bloody Mary in “South Pacific” earlier this season.

A set of chimes made by the Deagan Manufacturing Company, South Bend, has been installed in the pipe organ of the Baptist Church. There are 20 tones in the set, all played by electric action. T.A. McBride was in charge of the work. A special part of the worship service, Sunday, July 21, will be given to the dedication of the chimes.
Free parking for Warsaw shoppers is again provided at the Center Ward school grounds, corner Main and Indiana streets. The playground parking lot is located only a block from Warsaw's main business section.
Warsaw students attending the Petrie band camp this season for five weeks are Mary Louise Hines, Margaret Bartol, Barbara Creighton, Robert Brennan, Paul Dodge, Roger Kelly, George Haney and Wayne Hepler. Max Shively, of Leesburg, who won first at the national contest this year, is also attending.[[In-content Ad]]
