Construction of the Warsaw Biblical Gardens has been set back a year. Plans were to start developing this April or May. Because the project needs more planning and designing, officials decided to postpone it. “We need to make sure we have everything taken care of before we start on the Gardens,” said Judy Prichard, spokesman. The Gardens will cover nearly a half acre and extend along Canal Street to Detroit Street. It features shrubs, trees, flowers, grasses, crops and herbs from the Bible. There are only five Biblical Gardens in the United States, and Warsaw’s will be second largest.
