    SYRACUSE - Erin Cassidente will represent Kosciusko County in the Miss Indiana Pageant for 1998.

Cassidente was chosen as the 1998 Miss Kosciusko from a field of 10 contestants at Wawasee High School School. She is the daughter of Ronald and Carolyn Cassidente of Warsaw.

    Bob Eherenman, Warsaw Community High School junior, was to leave June 22 for a year in Denmark as the Warsaw Rotary Exchange Student of the Year.

Bob is the son of Phil Eherenman, Warsaw Community High School band director, and Lincoln School second grade teacher, Mary Eherenman.

    Sandra Caywood, of Winona Lake, and Martha Nelson, of Burket, were named grand and reserve champions, respectively, at the recent 4-H junior demonstration contest held at the fairgrounds in east Warsaw.

Sandra, a member of the Winona Minor 49ers, demonstrated "Simple Cake Decorating." "Banana Boat Salad" was the demonstration given by Martha, runner-up.

    NORTH MANCHESTER - Accustomed to going out to the curb to serve his customers, J.L. Marks, druggist, was slightly startled when an automobile drove into the store through a plate glass window. It stopped by the soda fountain. Mrs. Will Boone stepped out, said she had intended to park the car, but became confused and drove through the window.
