Norman E. Hankins, a lifetime resident of Warsaw, will celebrate his 75th birthday June 19, 1999. His two sons, Mike Hankins, Temple, Texas, and Larry Hankins, Reno , Nev., will return to Warsaw to celebrate with their father, other family members and friends.

Philip P. Pratt, 22, of Rochester, has been named to succeed Duane Fites as basketball coach at Claypool High School. Fites recently resigned to accept a position as head coach at Argos. Pratt also will teach social studies and driver training.

The Royal Neighbors Lodge met for a regular business meeting at the Red Men's hall, with 22 members in attendance. The initiation degree was conferred on Mrs. Edith King, Miss Eileen Davis and William J. Davis. The affair also honored members, whose birthday anniversaries occur in April, May and June. A large pink and white birthday cake, which was presented by Mrs. Florence Dock, was served.
