Grace College will present “Cinderella” April 14, 15 and 16 at the Rodeheaver Auditorium. Erin Simpson has the title role, with Paul Lofquist as the prince and Crystal VanArtsdalen as the godmother. The set was designed by Terry Julian, who has designed sets for Grace and Wagon Wheel Theatre.
Paragon Medical announced in July 2004 plans to expand its Pierceton facilities, with the company expecting to break ground in 18 months. Plans are nine months ahead of schedule; ground was broken April 12 on a 50,000-square foot facility. Toby Buck, CEO, said, “This is another step forward in our 14 year history.”
Former Warsaw resident Roger Vanderpool, son of Jan Bell, has been named director of the Arizona State Department of Public Safety. He and his wife, Valerie, moved to Arizona in 1980 to join the DPS as a state trooper.

Ron Lawler and Mark Fleming, of R.A. Reed Productions, Portland, Ore., were two of the stage hands who erected the stage for the Farm Aid concert in the Indianapolis Hoosier Dome. Rick Reed, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Northenor, Warsaw, and the late Clifford Reed, owns R.A. Reed Productions. After the concert, the stage, after a 10-hour tear-down, headed back to its storage building near Warsaw.
District Lions met at Wawasee High School: Past district governor Bill Bridenthall of the Warsaw Evening Club was presented with the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award, the highest a Lion can receive, and named for the group’s founder. Council chairman Ray Enfield and region chairman Chuck Hogan received International President’s Certificates.

Willie Mosconi, one of the world’s finest pocket billiard players, exhibited his skills to Doug and Dennis Schue, Dick Beyer, Bobby Clark and Eugene Wilson, members of the Baker Boys Club.
Kosciusko County YMCA members are selling thin mint candies to help earn money for Day Camp this summer: David Barnes, Lannie Woods, Randy Woodling, Brent Magers, Ricky Thompson, Dennis and Jerry Kinsey. Donald Reap, general secretary.
Brooks Pinnick, president of the Kosciusko County Shrine Club, announced that the Mizpah Shrine Club will present a free concert April 11 at the Warsaw High School auditorium. Two local Shriners, Kenneth Rice, Warsaw, and Cleon Marsh, Pierceton, are members of the band.

Warsaw’s Civil War veteran, I.W. Sharp, celebrates his 92nd birthday anniversary Saturday, March 9.
The drainage census of Kosciusko County is being taken by Frank L. Evans of Warsaw under the direction of the department of commerce. A total of 606 ditches in the county were listed in the 1930 census taken by Hermon Bodkin. Victor D. Mock took the census in 1920.
Homer (Rody) Rodeheaver, Winona Lake, is in Florida on an evangelistic campaign. Sister Ruth Rodeheaver Thomas is accompanying her brother. He starts another campaign with Dr. Poling in Philadelphia Sunday and through March 22. Rody has been doing fine work, physically fit and voice never better.[[In-content Ad]]
