    POTPOURRI - Wanna guess where the biggest convention hall in Warsaw will soon be located? Try the Westminster Hall, formerly the Westminster Hotel on Chestnut Street in Winona Lake.

The property owned by Grace College is currently under renovations and should be complete by this summer. The four-story building will feature two dining halls that can hold upward of 200 people in each.

    Warsaw Elks Lodge 802 has named Mathew Wayne Cook as February Teenager of the Month. Cook, 18, son of Clarence and Marsha Cook, is a senior at Warsaw Community High School.

Cook, recently ranked 31st out of his class of 353, plans to attend Purdue University, majoring in electronic engineering.

    SILVER LAKE - Priscilla Howell, seventh-grader who won the local spelldown, is the local spelling champion for the second year. She will represent Silver Lake School in the county finals in Warsaw.

March 24 1933

    ROCHESTER - William Foore was appointed caretaker of the city tourist camp by the council, succeeding John Kreigle. Kreigle, who is 90, will retire this week after 67 years as a city employee. He obtained his first job in the Rochester Street Dept. in 1866.
