John Grabner constructed a building at 107 E. Center St., Warsaw, to house a new hardware store. That was 135 years ago. Since that time this business has operated continuously, but there have been a couple name and ownership changes and a move to 1701 E. Center St. in 1966. The business became affiliated with Ace Hardware in 1938. Ace Hardware of Warsaw has been recognized as one of the top 250 stores out of 5,000 Ace stores worldwide. To celebrate the 135-year anniversary, Ace would like the public to participate in a contest describing an event involving Ace Hardware of Warsaw, previously Pottenger Bros., or when the business was Grabner & Son.

One of her pet projects for the past eight years has been Home Health Care Services.
