Volunteers with Hands of Hope recently returned from their trip to Guatemala. The group is working to build a medical clinic in the Latin American country. During their 10-day stay in Guatemala, Steve Petty and retired contractor Rex Hogan worked with the locals to pour a 16-foot-by-60 foot concrete area. Now that the volunteers are back, the locals will dig the footer for the next stage of the clinic. The next trip is planned for Jan. 7 and Petty said they hope to have two teams.
