John R. Stookey, of Leesburg, won top honors in the junior division of the International Dairy Show in Chicago with the showing of his 2-year-old Holstein cow, "Perkins Promise Walker Lad." Stookey, a former outstanding high school basketball player at Leesburg, was judged top showman in the 4-H club livestock show at the 1956 Kosciusko County fair. He graduated from Leesburg last spring.

Mary Burt, who receives The Times at Silver Lake, is 84 years old. In a note to the editor, written in a very legible handwriting, she says, "I can't remember the day my father didn't take The Indianian, and then my husband, so you see, it is like one of the family. I will enjoy it as long as I get it. May the Lord add His blessing."
