The winners of the Ladies Stonehenge Wednesday Afternoon Bridge were Dory Wright, Peg Zimmerman, Kathleen Martin and Margret Stuzman.
There were nine tables at the Wednesday evening Mixed Couples Bridge with the following winners: Mazie Kreicker, John Clay, Bob Steele, Elaine Loser, Rex Tinkey, Nancy Anderson, Janet Oberlin, Bill Tidmore, Dick Allen, Roger Sawyer and Dory Wright.

Former astronaut James Irwin, who flew to the moon on Apollo 15, spoke at the Grace Schools annual recognition banquet for sustaining sponsors recently. Speaking to a crowd of more than 200 at the banquet, he told an inspiring story of how he spent a lifetime shooting for the moon.
“What a happy moment that was,” Irwin says, “almost the happiest moment in my life. (I cried) tears of joy. I was finally doing what I had been prepared my whole life to do.”
“I came back with a new appreciation for the blue planet,” Irwin says. “I thought that I had viewed it as God must have viewed it. I came back with a new love for people on the earth and a new love for the Lord and a desire to serve Him.”

Mr. and Mrs. Vern Egolf, of near Atwood, returned from Dover, Del., recently. They visited their son, Staff Sgt. Jack Egolf and family, before he left for a 60-day assignment in the Congo. He is flight engineer on a C-124 Globemaster.
Miss Ruth Matson and Miss Mamie Matson, of Winona Lake, are vacationing with relatives in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Miss Betty Bevier is valedictorian of the 1936 graduating class of the Warsaw High School, according to announcement made by high school principal Loren Chastain. Miss Margery June Spear, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Spear, is salutatorian. Two pupils of the graduating class are selected each year for these honors for having the highest grades throughout their four years in high school.
