Editor, Times-Union:
All people in the United States are guaranteed by the Constitution to have freedom of religion. I don’t agree with all the different religions that people have but I respect their right to worship as they see fit, except when it comes to human sacrafice.
We should not try to force a business or a person to do something that is contrary to their religious belief and I belief it is also legally unconstitution to do so. this has no intend to discriminate against anyone. We must use our common sense that God has given to everybody.
To put this in a better perspective, say a same sex couple wanted to get married in a local mosque. You won’t see this happen simply because the Muslim would not allow it. Do you think it would be that way because the Muslims are prejudiced? The muslims would not allow it because it is against their religious beliefs.
The same reason that a Christian would not agree to a similiar request because of his or her religious beliefs. Do you doubt this statement? Find someone else that doesn’t have these objections.
Quit picking on Christians who are more tolerant of such happenings. Keep pushing and somebody “may start pushing back. Just a friendly reminder.”
I hope this article can put things in a better perspective.

Chip Shots: How Callous IS It?
For every 700 to 1,000 words of mine you read on any given Saturday, I have a list of callous, cynical thoughts and remarks I can make about the topics I discuss… easily five-fold of what I allow past my filter and, in turn, e-mail to my editor.
