Elizabeth Regedanz and Richard Regedanz, both of Fort Wayne, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie, Syracuse, to Curtis Hursey, Syracuse. He is the son of Renee Hursey, Syracuse, and the late Harlan Hursey.

The bride-to-be is a special education teacher at Leesburg Elementary School. She graduated from North Side High School, Fort Wayne, in 1996, received her bachelor's degree in elementary Education from University of Southern Indiana, Evansville, in 2001 and earned an endrosement in mild interventions from IPFW in 2005.

The groom-elect is general manager of Hurseys Inc. He graduated from Wawasee High School in 1999 and received his associate's degree in CAD from Tri State University in 2001.

The couple plan a July 14 wedding.
