Noel and Maurine Reed, North Manchester, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 11 with a family dinner at the Peabody Enrichment Center, North Manchester.
Noel and the former Maurine Grogan were married Oct. 10, 1954, at Fairbanks United Brethren Church, Marion, by the Rev. Archie Grogan.
The couple have five children: Larry (and spouse Felicity) Reed, Larnaca, Cyprus; Gary Reed, St. Louis, Mo.; Linda (and spouse Tim) Wallace, Hartford City; Gregg (and spouse Colleen) Reed, Wabash; and Kevin Reed, Logansport. They also have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Both are retired educators, and Noel is a retired United Methodist minister.
