Charles and the former Ada Mae King were married March 22, 1964, at the Collamer Christian Church, South Whitley, by Pastor Joel Kemmerer.
Charles retired from Dana Corp., Fort Wayne, after 33 years. Ada Mae has owned Ada’s Country Bakery for 25 years.
The couple have six children: Vickie Smith and Lori (and spouse Jarrad) Lancaster, both of South Whitley; Richard (and spouse Kay) Rebman, Larwill; Peggy Rebman, Columbia City; and Melinda (and spouse Kyle) Miller, Claypool; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
An open house will be from 2 to 4 p.m. March 30 at Collamer Christian Church, 5850 S. CR 900, South Whitley.
