Thank you, Times-Union, for your fair and balanced reporting. I love your editorial page and read all content and commentators. Thank you for Ann Coulter, Jonah Goldberg and all the rest. Please ignore those who wish to "shut down" the First Amendment rights and keep all those right and left editorials coming.

It's very sad when someone constantly e-mails letters with sick, inaccurate information off some extreme liberal Web site and calls it "truth." Those people "assume" you are against Democrats and Independents. How pathetic is that? I have voted Democrat and Republican. Neither party is all "good" nor all "bad." I am not for the extreme socialist, communist liberals who are no running this country. Health care is not a human right. Our taxes already pays for Medicaid, that's enough.

Sorry for you, Anthony, but again you're wrong (as usual). Social Security and Medicare are not socialist programs. Social Security and Medicare are paid for by everyone who works. They are not welfare programs. When you retire, you still pay for Medicare part A and B. Medicaid is still there for folks who cannot afford part A and B. If you work, you would know that. Ah, look at your check stub. And after you do that, let me know where in the Constitution of the United States does it say health care is a human right.

I repeat, we have the best health care in the world and expensive or not, the public option is not an option. Tax credits would give everyone who pays taxes money to buy health care. Big government be hanged - it's not "for the people, by the people." Washington works for us and it's time we take this nation back. The people of the United States are tired of both the right and left, and, brother, it's time to clean house.

I am so bored with all the wasted space on Bush and Palin. You've beaten that horse to death (although I'm going to try to make one of the 950 cities that are clamoring for Palin to speak.) The reason your eyes are in the front of your head is to look forward, not back.

Obama's ratings have fallen faster in just seven months than any president in history. He is an anti-capitalist socialist who wants to destroy our freedoms. This Obama bunch can't even run a rebate program! He runs around with his fuzzy math getting us deeper in debt than any president (in fact more than all put together) in 200 years.

Question boldly. Hold to the truth. Speak without fear. - Thomas Jefferson.

Thank God for Fox News, Rush, Beck, O'Riley, Hannity, all the freedom-loving Democrats, Republicans and Independents who speak out against these criminals in D.C.

You bet I will pander to the troops. I thank God every day that I can sleep at night knowing they have and are keeping us safe.

"The will of God hath parted us - America shall flourish the favorite of heaven and the friend of mankind. May the gracious hand of heaven preserve America." - Thomas Paine. Atheist? I rest my case.
