SYRACUSE - Raynelle Swensson, 79, of 200 Kingston Circle Drive, Ligonier, and formerly of Syracuse, died at 1:45 a.m. Feb. 5, 2008, in Avalon Village Nursing Home, Ligonier.

She was born Nov. 7, 1928, in Paducah, Texas, to Hershel L. and Pauline Eason Adams. In 1968, she married Everett Swensson, who preceded her in death.

She graduated from high school in Texas and attained a nursing degree. She moved to the Syracuse area from Washington in 2005.

Surviving are a daughter, Paula (and spouse Skip) Fulton, North Webster; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.

A private graveside service will be at a later date at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cypress, Calif.

No calling is planned.

Owen Family Funeral Home Inc., Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
