FISHERS – Randall Scott “Randy” Proefrock, 44, Logansport, passed away at 10:23 p.m. June 12, 2015, in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born July 20, 1970, in Cody, Wyoming, to Mary Kathryn “Kathy” Frost and Richard Proefrock. He was married to Christina Cook Proefrock, who preceded him in death in 2001. On June 10, 2006, he married Annette Servies, who survives in Logansport. She legally adopted his children Oct. 31, 2013.
He was a 1988 graduate of Cody High School, and attended Wyoming University where he played baseball, his passion. He was employed in the construction field.
Also surviving are two children: Laura and Richard Proefrock, both of Logansport; his mother and step-father, Kathy and Clarence Panchison, Wapiti, Wyo.; one sister, “Kary” Proefrock Hirschey, Warsaw; two nieces: Alicia Baxter and Natalie Hirschey; one nephew: Trysten Baxter; aunts and uncles: Pink and Jack Way, Chris and Pat Frost, all of Cody, Wyo.; Don Proefrock, New Jersey; and Bill and Bob Proefrock, both of New York. He also was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky.
Services will be in Cody, Wyo., at a later day. A memorial service celebrating the life of Randy Proefrock will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Chapel with celebrant Jacob Fisher officiating. Cremation has been entrusted to Fisher Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services.
Calling is from 5 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at 7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
