SYRACUSE – Ramona J. Terry, 78, of Syracuse, died at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19, 2011, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.

She was born Jan. 27, 1933, in Keensburg, Ill., to Richard O. and Mary E. Calvin Butler. In 1950, she married Eugene Henry, who preceded her in death. In 1962, she married Marion Terry, who also preceded her in death.
 
She graduated from Tech High School, Indianapolis. She retired in 1993 from Hamilton Centers, Noblesville,  as a houseparent and then moved to the Syracuse area from Noblesville. She was a member of Syracuse Baptist Church and Eagles Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary Post 223, both in Syracuse. She was a former member of  Wawasee Community Bible Church, Milford, and Order of Eastern Star, Fortville.

Surviving are two sons, Richard (and spouse Debbie) Henry, North Webster, Michael (and spouse Nancy) Henry, Fillmore; a daughter, Teresa (and spouse David)  Kerns, Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Syracuse Baptist Church, Syracuse, with Pastor Merv Swartzendruber officiating. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.

Calling is from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
