Several weeks ago, the Raccoon Patrol of Boy Scout Troop 715 spent the weekend in southern Indiana. They spent time looking for fossils where hills of limestone had been cut away to make roadways, spent time exploring a cave, and had fun plus success hunting for geodes. Everyone on the trip brought home armloads of the crystal-filled stones. The group also camped out just a few miles north of the Ohio River in the hills of southern Indiana. Scouts going on the trip were Kole Smith, Jordan Timbers, Rob Morehouse, Justin Lee and Keyan Prater. Adult leaders participating were Scott McClintock, David Morehouse, Kevin Smith and Dick McCleary.
