NORTH MANCHESTER - R. Wiladene Drudge, 94, of Silver Lake, died at 12:45 a.m. March 13, 2008, in her residence. She was born Jan. 19, 1914, in Wabash County, to Charles and Rosa Albright Blickenstaff. On Jan. 19, 1935, she married Harley M. Drudge, who died Nov. 13, 1964.

She retired from Controls Co., North Manchester, after 20 years of service. She was a member of Eel River Community Church of the Brethren, Silver Lake.

Surviving are a son, Roger A. (and spouse Lynne) Drudge, Columbia City; three daughters: Marilyn Sue (and spouse Charles) Sterk, Silver Lake; Peggy Ann Boggs, North Manchester; and Elaine Kay (and spouse Jerry) Rager, Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, two great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Eel River Community Church of the Brethren, Silver Lake, with Andy Airgood and Pastor Harriett Finney officiating. Burial will be in Ulrey Memorial Cemetery, Silver Lake.

Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church.
