Purpose Of Letters

When people write letters to the editor, an article in a magazine or on the Internet, the writer attempts to inform the reader, to persuade the reader to change their views or entertain – put a smile on the reader’s face, give them a chuckle.
Several readers have complimented me on some of my letters, however, on some of them I went too far. I never intended to upset anyone. I have taken a step back and I want to apologize to those individuals who were annoyed with me.
I still want to write more letters, but I can’t guarantee that I won’t upset anybody else. Nobody has the same life experiences. Nobody thinks the same way. Nobody has the same background, and nobody believes the same way as I do. Thank you.
