Monday July 9th at 1 pm will be a demonstration with tasting on “Cooking with Herbs.” Jan Long will lead this class. She has a long-time interest in herbs used in cooking and will be able to answer your questions. At 6 pm there will be a “Bonsai” demonstration with Steve Moore. He will give tips on the Japanese method of growing and pruning Bonsai plants.
Tuesday, July 10th at 1 pm will show you how to “Grow Caladiums.” Purdue Master Gardener, Becky Lambert will be the presenter. At 6 pm, plans are still uncertain.
Wednesday, July 11th at 1 pm, Nancy Adams will show us how to make a “20 Minute Pillowcase.” This would certainly make a quick and easy gift for anyone considering the fabric choices that are available. At 6 pm, June Thomas will show a “Make & Take Scarf.” There will be a $2 charge for materials for this program.
Thursday, July 12th at 1 pm, Joanie Younce will be doing a “Stir-Fry” along with tasting. This will show how to use lots of vegetables in a one-dish meal. At 6 pm, Nancy Adams will show how to “Make & Taste Smoothies.” She will have quite a variety of healthy options for you to try at home.
Friday, July 13 at 1 pm, “Beginning Quilting Tips” will be shared by Geneva Veasey. Geneva is a long time quilter and will have many tips for you to get started. At 6 pm. Julia Frush will do a demonstration with tasting for her program, “Z is for a Zillion Zucchinis.” Recipes will be included.
Saturday, July 14th at 1 pm, June Thomas will show how to make a “Quick & Easy Table Runner.” In just a few minutes you can create a table runner to go with any décor or holiday theme.
On Wednesday afternoon, Bev Earnhart will be present showing how to spin wool into yarn, on Thursday, the Quilt Club will be there to show how to put a quilt together and on Friday, the Knitting Club will help people with their knitting questions.
