Purdue Club Of Kosciusko Presents Scholarships

The fund was established through the Kosciusko County Community Foundation to provide financial assistance to deserving students from Kosciusko County who are beginning their third or fourth year at Purdue University.[[In-content Ad]]The Purdue Club announced Anushri Gokhale, Jenna Ruch and Marc Whetstone as the 2009 recipients of the award.
Gokhale is being awarded a $1,000 scholarship. She will be a junior at Purdue University, West Lafayette, studying pharmacy. Gokhale is a Warsaw resident, and a 2007 Warsaw Community High School graduate.
After graduating with a doctor of pharmacy degree from Purdue in 2013, she plans to become a pharmacist.
Ruch is being awarded a $500 scholarship. She will be a senior at Purdue, majoring in consumer and family sciences education, to graduate in December this year.
Ruch is a Milford resident, and a 2006 Wawasee High School graduate.
After graduating from Purdue, she plans to become a middle school teacher of consumer and family sciences.
Whetstone also is being awarded a $500 scholarship. He will be a senior at Purdue, majoring in quantitative agricultural economics, to graduate in December 2010. Whetstone is a Mentone resident, and a 2006 Tippecanoe Valley High School graduate.
After graduating from Purdue, he plans to operate a family farm.
