Puckett Announces Auditor Candidacy

Michelle Puckett, Warsaw, has announced her candidacy for Kosciusko County auditor in the May primary.
Puckett is a 1990 graduate of Warsaw Community High Shool.
Her husband, Jeff, has been a firefighter for Warsaw-Wayne fire territory for 18 years and served the country in the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm.
The couple have four children and four grandchildren.
According to a press release, “They have dedicated their lives to public service and are active and passionate about their church and community.”
Puckett accepted a position with the Kosciusko County auditor Aug. 2, 1999. The original position was in the property tax department. She was advanced to the financial department and finally was promoted to chief deputy auditor, a position that she had held since February 2004.
“I have been fortunate to work with three county auditors and have learned and continue to learn a great deal from their experience and knowledge as county auditors,” Puckett said.
Along with 15 years experience, she said she has attended classes, conferences and seminars providing her with the skills and knowledge to perform the tasks of county auditor.[[In-content Ad]]
