 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 11:46 a.m. Tuesday – Heather Ann Beene, 35, of 7145 S. CR 950W, South Whitley, arrested on a warrant for another Indiana agency. No bond set.
n Noon Tuesday – John Robert Copley, 55, of 636 Walter Way C, Warsaw, arrested on a warrant for another Indiana agency. No bond set.
n 12:45 p.m. Tuesday – Catherine Curtis, 68, of 1748 S. Blue Spruce Road, Warsaw, arrested for dealing in a Schedule II controlled substance. Bond: $2,000.
n 4:25 p.m. Tuesday – Brandon Jay Chilcutt, 24, of 72440 CR 29, Syracuse, arrested for being a habitual offender. Bond: $5,000.
n 4:42 p.m. Tuesday – Logan Michael Phillips, 19, of 13528 N. Hillside Drive, Syracuse, arrested for auto theft and theft under $100,000 value. Bond: $5,000.
n 4:56 p.m. Tuesday – Misty Dawn Warren, 25, of 803 N. Lake St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $450.
n 5:23 p.m. Tuesday – James Allen Britt, 30, of 1518 N. Fox Farm Road, Warsaw, arrested for failure to comply. Bond: $48.

Accidents
n 4:37 a.m. Tuesday – County Farm Road, 500 feet south of CR 600S, Warsaw. Vehicle struck a deer. Driver: David J. Burnette, 43, West Lake Street, Laketon. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
n 6:58 a.m. Tuesday – North CR 300W, 500 feet north of West CR 500N, Warsaw. Vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Alexis N. Travis, 18, West CR 550N, Warsaw. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.
n 10:43 a.m. – Intersection of Detroit and Main streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Linda M. Record, 63, South CR 350E, Fairmount; Charles R. Kaltenbach, 69, North Maple Avenue, Warsaw. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
n 4:04 p.m. Tuesday – Frontage Road, 1,200 feet east of Eastlake Drive, Warsaw. Mo-ped slid out from under driver as he attempted to avoid striking a vehicle. Driver: Michael J. Anderson George, 14, Inwood Circle, Syracuse. Damages: Under $750. WPD.

n 4:24 p.m. Tuesday – A Silver Lake woman reported fraud in the 3100 block of West Wilson Avenue. WPD.
n 4:40 p.m. Tuesday – A Leesburg woman reported fraud in the 1300 block of West CR 700N, saying she received a piece of mail indicating she was a lottery winner. KCSD.
n 11:37 p.m. Tuesday – A Warsaw man reported his friend was suicidal in the 3600 block of North Oakwood Drive. He also reported he wanted a gun returned to him. KCSD.
