County Jail Bookings
The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

- 9:57 a.m. Tuesday – Nicholas Joseph Bray, 19, of 107 N. Clay St., Claypool, arrested for intimidation and theft. Bond: $5,000.
- 9:53 a.m. Tuesday – Jose Luis Fuentes, 44, of 3762 W. Old 30, Warsaw, arrested for driving while intoxicated. Bond: $750.
- 10:32 a.m. Tuesday – Jacob Lee Hess, 28, of Marion, arrested for being a habitual traffic violator, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $5,000.
- 11:17 a.m. Tuesday – Tabitha Marie Davis, 27, of 602 S. McClellan St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while intoxicated. No bond set.
- 11:46 a.m. Tuesday – Jason Foster Sizemore, 34, of 3179 N. Runkle Drive, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
- 1:32 p.m. Tuesday- Skyler Lee Dutton, 19, of 5897 S. West Channel Road, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.

Property Damage Accidents
- 12:43 p.m. Monday – Intersection of CRs 900N and 300W, Milford. One vehicle ran off road. Driver: Sergio C. Rico, 40, of 5901 W. Blue Heron Lane, Mentone. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
- 3:18 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of U.S. 30E and Old 30, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Darrell E. Campbell, 60, of 4555 E. CR 1200N, Syracuse; Debra A. Snizek, 58, of 650 Dogwood Lane, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. KCSD.

- 1:18 p.m. Monday – An Akron man reported a trailer stolen from his home in the 7600 block of West Ind. 14. KCSD.
- 9:07 p.m. Monday – A Warsaw woman reported jewelry, shoes and cash stolen from her home in the 3700 block of West Old 30. KCSD.
- Monday – A Nappanee man reported the wiring stolen from a new-construction home in the 13500 block of North Ind. 19. KCSD.
- Monday – A Pierceton man reported a trailer and scrap metal stolen from his property, which he later discovered had been sold to a scrap yard. KCSD.

County Council Adopts 2025 Budget
Kosciusko County Council wrapped up the county’s 2025 budget by adopting the ordinance for it on second reading Thursday evening. The first reading of the budget ordinance was held Sept. 12.

TVHS Renovations Expected To Be ‘Substantially Complete' By Month’s End
AKRON — Work on Tippecanoe Valley High School's renovation project should be "substantially complete" by the end of October, said The Skillman Corp. Project Manager Scott Rogers.
