The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

- 5 a.m. Wednesday - Victor Robin Vanier, 42, of Indianapolis, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $2,000.
- 10:47 a.m. Wednesday - John Dean Reed, 25, of 14280 E. CR 125S, Akron, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $1,000.
- 1:08 p.m. Wednesday - Sarah Lynn Akers, 34, of 111 N. Tucker St., Mentone, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $500.,
- 2:29 p.m. Wednesday - Miles Richard Williams, 44, of 118 W. CR 200N, Pierceton, arrested for public intoxication. Bond: $300.
- 2:58 p.m. Wednesday - Samuel Effrien Alvarez, 32, of 1822 Crescent Drive, Warsaw, arrested for a matter on a civil warrant. Bond: $2,500.
- 6:18 p.m. Wednesday - Thomas Foster Smith, 30, of 3403 S. CR 550W., Mentone, arrested for intimidation. Bond: $1,000.
- 9:11 p.m. Wednesday - Daniel Lee Swafford, 19, of 304 W. Walnut St., Claypool, arrested for theft.. Bond: $2,000.
- 9:27 p.m. Wednesday - Corey H. Ritchie, 23, of 102 S. 7th St., Pierceton, arrested for battery. Bond: $500.
- 3:36 today - Ricky Dean Allen, 49, of 3104 E. Wooster Road, Pierceton, arrested for public intoxication. Bond: $300.
- 3:40 today - Lowell Kenneth Collins, 45, of 77 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, arrested for public intoxication and possession of marijuana. Bond: $2,000.

Property Damage Accidents
- 5:30 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Center and Bronson streets, Warsaw. Car-mo-ped collision. Drivers: Charity Price, 33, North Reed Street, Warsaw; John T. Feaster, 42, North Columbia Street, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

- 11:26 a.m. Wednesday – A Comfort Inn employee, Warsaw, reported the theft of an iPod from a room. WPD.
- 11:33 a.m. Wednesday – An Owen’s Fuel Center employee, East Center Street, Warsaw, reported a theft. WPD.
- 8:14 p.m. Wednesday – A Kohl’s employee, West CR 300N, Warsaw, reported a theft. WPD.
