 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 8:53 a.m. Thursday – Kayla Joy Losee, 19, of 801 S. Elm St., Nappanee, arrested for failure to appear – original charge Class D felony. Bond: $10,000.
n 12:22 p.m. Thursday – Logan Ray Hontz, 26, Churubusco, arrested for theft – under $100,000 in value. Bond: $1,000.
n 2:50 p.m. Thursday – Vincente Josue Castillo, 18, of 1692 E. CR 200N 154, Warsaw, arrested for theft – under $100,000 in value, and possession of marijuana. Bond: $2,000.
n 8:17 p.m. Thursday – Areli Guadalupe Sanchez, 18, of 1120 E. Clark St., Warsaw, arrested for illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage. Bond: $300.
n 11:27 p.m. Thursday – Randy Walgamuth, 53, no address available, arrested for criminal mischief – damage between $250 and $2,500, and public intoxication. Bond: $500.

n 10:54 a.m. Thursday – Intersection of South County Farm Road and East CR 1200S, Sidney. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Noble Kintzel, 74, West Old 30, Etna Green; Jeremy P. Warren, 41, North Ogden Road, North Manchester. Injuries: Warren complained of injuries to his forearm from the airbag and was checked by medics at the scene. Damages: $10,000 to $25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

n 3:02 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of North Detroit and East Center streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Lewis W. Fuller, 30, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw; Timothy M. Mauk, 63, West Snyder Road, Warsaw. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. KCSD.

Incidents
n 8:30 a.m. Thursday – Police responded to a report of false or ficticious registration in the 1100 block of Husky Trail/Mariners Drive, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
n 1:04 p.m. Thursday – A Warsaw man reported two ATVs stolen from his residence in the 7900 block of West CR 300N. KCSD.
n 2:56 p.m. Thursday – A runaway was taken into custody in the 9400 block of South Ind. 13, Claypool. KCSD.
n 2:58 p.m. Thursday – A Pierceton man reported his motorcycle stolen in the 8200 block of East CR 250S. KCSD.
n 7:38 a.m. Thursday – Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 1100 block of East Clark Street, Warsaw. A minor female was taken into custody for minor consumption. WPD.
n 8:46 p.m. Thursday – Police responded to a report of an intoxicated person in the 600 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. WPD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
