 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 3:30 a.m. Wednesday – Joshua Wade Newsome, 31, Fort Wayne, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated – refusing to submit to a chemical breath test. Bond: $750.
n 8:23 a.m. Wednesday – George Anthony Jackson, 41, of 323 Collins Drive, Warsaw, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $500.
n 9:20 a.m. Wednesday – Crystal Marie Williams, 20, Fort Wayne, arrested for illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage. Bond: $300.
n 1:36 p.m. Wednesday – Anna Marie King, 27, South Bend, arrested for child restraint violation. Bond: $25.
n 2:10 p.m. Wednesday – John Justin Tingle, 33, of 108 N. State St., South Whitley, arrested for theft, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $2,500.
n 2:17 p.m. Wednesday – Tamara Lee Wager, 45, Plymouth, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.
n 4:59 p.m. Wednesday – Javier Garza, 18, of 340 E. Levi Lee Road, No. 141, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $1,500.
n 9:38 p.m. Wednesday – Logan David Keen, 18, of 2404 Westwood Road, Winona Lake, arrested on a warrant for another Indiana agency. Bond: $350.
n 9:48 p.m. Wednesday – Todd Joseph Guiff, 44, of 10416 N. Green Ave., Syracuse, arrested for possession of marijuana. Bond: $450.
n 10:13 p.m. Wednesday – Charles Laustin Kreider, 24, of 1202 Wooster Road, No. 79, Winona Lake, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.
n 11:48 p.m. Wednesday – Tarah Renae Prater, 28, of 653 Heritage Lane, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $750.

Accidents
n 7:29 a.m. Wednesday – North CR 450E, 1,000 feet south of East CR 100N, Warsaw. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Shanna M. Thomas, 26, East CR 100N, Warsaw. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
n 4:37 p.m. Wednesday – 1800 W. Center St., Warsaw. Driver struck parked vehicle registered to William A. Stucker, Kokomo. Driver: Caleb D. Adams, 19, North Fort Wayne Avenue, Warsaw. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

Incident
n 9:23 a.m. Wednesday – A North Webster woman reported theft of eight fence posts in the 100 block of EMS W14A Lane. KCSD.

Traffic Violations
 The following individuals were cited for traffic offenses in Kosciusko County from July 30 to Aug. 6, 2014:
n Kumar Mohapatratapan cited for speeding.
n Shane R. Carpenter cited for expired plates.
