n 11:51 a.m. Monday - Alicia Marie Lucero, 20, of 497 Clinic Court, Warsaw, arrested for theft-shoplifting. Bond: $2,000.

n 8 p.m. Monday - Derrick Scott Gasaway, 18, of 259 EMS R4 Lane, Pierceton, arrested for criminal mischief. Bond: $500.

n 8:24 p.m. Monday - Mark Steven Cowles, 51, of 312 Crystal Flash Road, North Webster, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $750.

n 1:50 a.m. today - Chadwick Thomas Brost, 30, of 923 S. Union St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while intoxicated. Bond: $550.

n 5:08 a.m. today - Kevin Edward Smith, 32, of 212 N. Columbia St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended and refusal to submit to chemical testing. Bond: $300.

n 5:12 p.m. Monday - Ind. 15N, 292 feet north of Plaza Drive, Warsaw. SUV-car collision. Drivers: Elsie F. Hoppas, 74, Union Street, Warsaw; Kirtus D. Murray, 41, Goshen. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. WPD.

n 6:36 p.m. Monday - Intersection of Eagle and Morton streets, Warsaw. Car hit curb and went into vacant lot. Driver: Rebekah A. Nelson, 16, Porthcawl Road, Winona Lake. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

n Monday - Curt Hursey, CR 1000N, Syracuse, reported finding a "bottle bomb" in his mailbox. No one was injured. KCSD.

n 11:01 a.m. Monday - An employee of Kmart, Lake City Highway, Warsaw, reported the theft of makeup from the store. WPD.

n 1:51 p.m. Monday - Ellen Juanita Thomas, Sycamore Street, Warsaw, reported the theft of a flat screen television. Value: $300. WPD.

n 3:08 p.m. Monday - Debra Kay Kester, Frontage Road, Warsaw, reported unauthorized use of a credit card. WPD.

n 3:49 p.m. Monday - An employee of GRS Motorwerks, Center Street, Warsaw, reported damage to a 2005 Cadillac Escalade. Damage: $100. WPD.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
