 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 12:09 p.m. Friday – Ricky Joe Owens, 53, Elkhart, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $750.
• 1:43 p.m. Friday – Kane Edward Hively, 28, of 1228 E. Main St., Warsaw, arrested for court. No bond set.
• 1:52 p.m. Friday – Brandon Scott Miller, 28, Roann, arrested for court. No bond set.
• 5:01 p.m. Friday – Joshua A. Crosley, 31, of 5065 W. Lakeview Park Drive, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.
• 6:40 p.m. Friday – Christina Marie Bartela, 24, of 211 N. Morgan St., Mentone, arrested for battery. Bond: $500.
• 6:52 p.m. Friday – Brandon Allen Shambarger, 25, of 207 E. Harrison St., Claypool, arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $600.

• 11:52 a.m. Thursday – Intersection of Huntington and Chicago streets, Syracuse. Two-vehicle rear-end hit-skip collision. Driver remaining: Megan M. Erb, 33, CR 44, Millersburg; Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. Syracuse Police Department investigated.
• 2:42 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of Barbee Drive and North CR 650E, Warsaw. Vehicle ran off road. Driver: Cory R. Stump, 30, West CR 900N, Milford. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff Department investigated.
• 6:03 a.m. Friday – Intersection of North CR 175E and Springfield Drive, Warsaw. Vehicle hit deer. Driver: Maria A. Brito, 48, East CR 200N, Warsaw. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.

• 4:08 p.m. Thursday – Auto theft was reported in the 1600 block of East CR 200N, Warsaw. KCSD.
• 6:02 p.m. Thursday – Possession of marijuana was reported in the 1900 block of Leiter Drive, Warsaw. WPD.
