 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 9:25 p.m. Friday – William Lawrence Greer, 31, Kite, Ky., arrested for possession of a schedule III controlled substance and invalid or expired license. Bond: $5,000.
n 9:26 p.m. Friday – Kory Sean Myers, 20, of 602 Turkey Creek Drive, Milford, arrested for possession of an altered handgun and carrying a handgun without a license near school property with prior conviction. Bond: $5,000.
n 10 a.m. Saturday – Cephus Shepherd, 72, of 15919 E. CR 375S, Silver Lake, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. No bond set.
n 8 p.m. Saturday – Travis Lee Reiff, 28, Larwill, arrested for disorderly conduct. Bond: $350.
n 11:17 p.m. Saturday – Jacob Allen Frantz, 18, Plymouth, arrested for false informing – alleging officer misconduct and illegal consumption of alcohol. Bond:  $500.
n 3:52 a.m. Sunday – Walter Alan Vitalone Jr., 50, of 302 N. Buffalo St., Warsaw, arrested for theft of less than $100,000, trespasss where sign posted and failure to appear – original charge misdemeanor. Bond: $2,350.
n 3:58 a.m. Sunday – Jennifer Sue Cole, 35, of 313 N. Buffalo St., Warsaw, arrested for theft of less than $100,000 in value. Bond: $2,000.
n 1:41 p.m. Sunday – Tara Mae Shortt, 45, Tyner, arrested for nonsupport of a dependent child. Bond: $5,000.
n 6:50 p.m. Sunday – Elizabeth Horning, 48, of 221 N. Columbia St., Warsaw, arrested for criminal mischief – victim suffers pecuniary loss by any means. Bond: $500.
n 7 p.m. Sunday – Christian Lee Grindle, 22, of 2812 E. Rader Road, Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.
n 7:23 p.m. Sunday – Dawn Ranae Dixon, no age, of 10965 S. CR 200W, Silver Lake, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.
n 7:52 p.m. Sunday – Zhenya Orlando Eugene Ogden, 18, of 1315 Wooster Road, Winona Lake, arrested for battery resulting in bodily injury with victim less than 14 years of age. Bond: $5,000.

Accident
n 6 a.m. Sunday – North CR 975E., 200 feet south of East CR 750N., North Webster. Vehicle swerved to avoid deer, ran off road and rolled onto side. Driver: Henry R. Kidd, 19, Milford. Injuries: Kidd complained of pain to his left arm and a bump on his head. Both Kidd and an unnamed passenger were treated on-scene but refused further medical treatment. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

n 3:21 a.m. Sunday – A Warsaw Goodwill store employee reported theft. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

n 6:26 p.m. Sunday – A Milford man reported finding lost property. KCSD.
n 6:35 p.m. Sunday – A Syracuse man reported harassment. Syracuse Police Department investigated.
