 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 11:25 a.m. Tuesday – Colt Anthony Johnson, 21, of 7271 W. Ind. 25, Mentone, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.
n 12:14 p.m. Tuesday – Allen Wayne Evans, 64, Marion, arrested on two counts of failure to appear. Bond: $25,500.
n 2:13 p.m. Tuesday – Catherine A. Lee, 50, of 2379 South CR 600W, Mentone, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
n 6:13 p.m. Tuesday – Josue Daniel Quirindongo, 26, of 1215 E. Main St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.
n 9:17 p.m. Tuesday – Justin Dewayne Yoder, 29, of 4321 N. Westerner Winds Drive, Warsaw, arrested for habitual traffic violation and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $5,000.
n 11:50 p.m. Tuesday – Rhydeem Otthello Hudson, 17, of 404 W. Parker St., No. 6, Warsaw, arrested on two counts of illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage. Bond: $600.
n 12:55 a.m. today – Kevin R. Lampkins, 50, of 4241 E. CR 450N, Leesburg, arrested for disorderly conduct. Bond: $300.

n 7:33 a.m. Tuesday – West CR 800S, 1,000 feet east of South Ind. 15, Claypool. Driver fell asleep at the wheel and struck rock and wooden fence. Driver: Eric J. Pfeiffer, 38, West CR 800S, Claypool. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Kociusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
n 10:54 a.m. Tuesday – 812 N. Detroit St., Warsaw. Driver struck parked vehicle registered to Olivia T. Zaca, East Wooster Road, Pierceton. Driver: Nicholas W. Pequignot, 18, Columbia City. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
n 11:53 a.m. Tuesday – 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Hit-skip accident. Remaining vehicle registered to Robert L. Chupp, New Paris. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.
n 4:45 p.m. Tuesday – Lake City Highway, 300 feet east of South CR 250E, Warsaw. Three-vehicle collision. Drivers: Martin A. Randall, 57, West Lutes Drive, Warsaw; Christopher M. Udell, 40, Chicago; Brian J. Feldman, 36, Ind. 331, Bourbon. Damages: $10,000 to $25,000. WPD.
n 7 a.m. today – 930 Executive Drive, Warsaw. Driver struck parked vehicle registered to Lloyd R. Adams, Brookview Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Danay E. Bowyer, 20, West Harrison Street, Mentone. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
