 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 11:13 a.m. Tuesday – Donald Lee Butts, 78, of 37 EMS B10 Lane, Pierceton, arrested for battery. Bond: $750.
n 11:50 a.m. Tuesday – Jefrey W. Reece, 36, of 3762 Old 30, Warsaw, arrested on two warrants in a civil matter. Bond: $17,600.
n 11:50 a.m. Tuesday – Juana Patricia Hernandez, 53, Elkhart, arrested for identity deception. Bond: $2,000.
n 1:46 p.m. Tuesday – Rodney J. Caudill, 41, of 43 EMS W30B Lane, North Webster, arrested for failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor. No bond set.
n 3:12 p.m. Tuesday – Christopher Alan Gressley, 30, of 903 Carrington Blvd., Warsaw, arrested for robbery - putting victim in fear. Bond: $20,000.
n 10:15 p.m. Tuesday – Steven W. Northrup, 50, of 7433 N. Syracuse-Webster Road, North Webster, arrested for invasion of privacy. Bond: $10,000.
n 6:24 a.m. Wednesday – Donald Paul Long, 62, of 103 N. Harris St., Bourbon, arrested for failure to appear - original charge felony. Bond: $500.

n 1:25 p.m. Tuesday – South Detroit Street, 20 feet north of East Market Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Anthony McCarty, 34,  Leesburg; Shawn F. Kintz, 37, Angola. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
n 2:24 p.m. Tuesday – North Buffalo Street, 80 feet north of East Center Street, Warsaw. Car hit parked vehicle. Driver: unknown; parked vehicle registered to Destiny J. Behny, Silver Lake. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.
n 4:58 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of North Detroit Street and Plaza Drive, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Fadi A. Kupty, 23, Goshen; Natalie R. Moore, 23, Mentone. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.
n 9:49 p.m. Tuesday – East McKenna Road, 400 feet west of EMS B38Lane, Warsaw. Vehicle hit parked vehicle. Driver: unknown; parked vehicle registered to Robert L. Tobias, 49,  Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
n 10:33 p.m. Tuesday – East CR 200N, 400 feet west of N. CR 400E, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: James M. Smith, 32, Warsaw, Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. KCSD.

n 12:03 p.m. Tuesday – A Pierceton man reported an unknown person broke into his fish and tackle store in Pierceton and stole cash and merchandise. WPD.

n 4:55 p.m. Wednesday – A Warsaw man reported an auto theft. KCSD.
