 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
n 9 a.m. Thursday – Tara Rayne McClone, 32, of 3211 W. CR 700S, Claypool, arrested for battery. No bond set.
n 10 a.m. Friday – Matthew Christopher Hosher, 21, of 5985 E. Old 30, Pierceton, arrested for theft - less than $100,000 in value. No bond set.
n 12:18 p.m. Friday – Curt Douglass Clevenger, 49, of 622 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. No bond set.

n 5:17 a.m. Friday – EMS C24 Lane, 200 feet east of North CR 175E, Warsaw. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Loreen M. Sroufe, 56, Warsaw. Damages: $1,000-$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
n 12:12 p.m. Friday – South Detroit Street, 250 feet north of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Amber A. Miller, 20, Claypool; Lorraine M. Freeman, 64, Warsaw. Damages: $1,000-$2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

n 11:32 a.m. Thursday – A Pierceton resident reported a death in the home. KCSD.
n 7:19 p.m. Thursday – A trespass after entry was denied was reported in Warsaw. WPD.
n 10:12 p.m. Thursday – A Syracuse resident reported a runaway. KCSD.
n 6:54 a.m. Friday – A Milford business reported criminal mischief to a soda machine. Milford Police Department investigated.
