County Jail Bookings
 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
- 4:55 a.m. Wednesday – Brandon Chambers, 18, of 102 W. Van Buren St., Leesburg, arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and public intoxication.  Bond: $2,000.
- 2:44 p.m. Wednesday – Bryan Glova, 32, of 410 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
- 10:38 p.m. Wednesday – Dillon Peters, 19, Fishers, arrested for possession/consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bond: $300.
- 10:50 p.m. Wednesday –Gwendolyn Dominy, 23, of 422 S. Union St., Warsaw, arrested for invasion of privacy. Bond: $350.
- 10:52 p.m. Wednesday – Jacob Miller, 29, of 11099 N. Humpty Dumpty Drive, Cromwell, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $1,000.

Personal Injury Accidents
- 7:19 p.m. Monday – Intersection of Ind. 19 W. and Ind. 25 S., Mentone. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Simon Kaitei, 32, Goshen; Amberly Taylor, 19, 20th Road, Tippecanoe. Injuries: Kaitei complained of neck pain; Taylor complained of head pain; Eunice Kaitei, 26, Goshen, a passenger in Kaitei’s vehicle, complained of chest pain; Nance Kaitei, 54, Goshen, a passenger in Kaitei’s vehicle, complained of head pain. Damage: $10,000 to $25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

Property Damage Accidents
-  5:10 p.m. July 18 – Intersection of CRs 200 E. and 700N., Leesburg. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Maria Marquez, 28, North CR 175E, Warsaw; Adam List, 48, East Fox Run Drive, Syracuse. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. KCSD.
- 5:25 p.m. July 19 – Intersection of Market and Buffalo streets, Warsaw. Three-vehicle collision. Drivers: Paula Hostetter, 53, West CR 1350N, Nappanee; Kathleen Titus, 58, Sheridan Street, Warsaw; Rickey Brown, 53, South White Pine Road, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
- 6:25 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Ind. 13 S. and CR 1000S, Sidney. One vehicle struck a deer. Driver: Paula Stinson, 56, EMS B 20 C Lane,  Pierceton. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
- 2:11 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of East Center Street and Park Avenue, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Dustin Cooper, 24, Wooster Road, Winona Lake; Ed Prater, 88, West Ind. 14, Silver Lake. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
- 9:10 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of CRs 200 E. and 700N, Leesburg. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Sue Gest, 45, East Pine Drive, Warsaw; Jason Waddle, 38, Deer Run North, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.

- 9:03 p.m. July 19 – A man reported theft in the 700 block of South Dixie Drive, North Webster. KCSD.

- 12:42 p.m. Sunday – A woman reported an attempted kidnapping in the 9300 block of East Wizard of Oz Way, Cromwell. KCSD.

- 3:30 p.m. Monday – A man reported theft at Jellystone Campground, Pierceton. KCSD.
- 9 p.m. Monday – A woman reported domestic battery in the 1500 block of Maye Street, Warsaw. WPD.
- 10 p.m. Tuesday – A woman reported a burglary in the 500 block of East Market Street, Warsaw. WPD.
- 12:42 p.m. Wednesday – A man reported theft in the 200 block of East Main Street, Warsaw. WPD.
- 9 p.m. Wednesday – A woman reported invasion of privacy in the 3100 block of Frontage Road, Warsaw. WPD.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
