n 10:51 a.m. Thursday - Demario Marice Loston, 33, of 313 S. Lake St., Warsaw, arrested on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $5,500.

n 11:24 a.m. Thursday - Lee Otis Whitby, 70, Fort Wayne, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $1,000.

n 4:47 p.m. Thursday - Jennifer Lee Yates, 22, of 115 Blue Jay, Nappanee, arrested for possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $500.

n 8:35 p.m. Thursday - Michael Dean Stacy, 39, of 158 N. CR 950W, Etna Green, arrested on two counts of probation violation. Bond: $5,000.

n 9:29 p.m. Thursday - Christina Nicole Bartley, 23, of 104 Church St., Claypool, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $350.

n 3:15 a.m. today - Alisha Mishele Huffman, 26, Columbia City, arrested for probation violation and on an out-of-county warrant. No bond set.

n 4:10 a.m. today - Leah Marie Leazier, 24, Columbia City, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $500.

n 4:16 a.m. today - Gary Dewayne Thornburg, 35, Lynn, arrested on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $27,023.70.

n 7:17 a.m. Wednesday - Ind. 25S, 500 feet east of Bruner Road, Warsaw. SUV hit tree. Driver: Donald L. Slone, 66, CR 200S, Warsaw. Injuries: Slone complained of back pain and a passenger in his vehicle, Alexandra Elliott, 16, CR 600S, Mentone, complained of neck pain. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.

n 3:02 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of Center and Grant streets, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: James F. Christian, 33, Winona Avenue, Warsaw; Ruby P. Pennington, 60, Compton, Ky. Injuries: Pennington complained of chest pain and a passenger in Christian's vehicle, Jennifer L. Christian, 33, Winona Avenue, Warsaw, complained of chest pain. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

n 5:28 p.m. Sunday - Ray Weaver, EMS B7 Lane, Leesburg, reported the theft of five air conditioning units from his residence. KCSD.

n 7:24 p.m. Wednesday - Carrie Ann Swihart, Hepler Drive, Warsaw, reported the theft of a cellular telephone. WPD.

n 11:15 p.m. Wednesday - Jeremy Smith, Cambridge Drive, Warsaw, reported he was accidentally shot with a pellet gun. KCSD.

n Thursday - James Moneyheffer, CR 700N, Leesburg, reported the theft of copper wire from an irrigation system. KCSD.

n 12:20 a.m. Thursday - Judith Burkholder, Indianapolis, reported the theft of a GPS unit from her vehicle while parked on EMS W30B Lane. KCSD.

Kosciusko County Council wrapped up the county’s 2025 budget by adopting the ordinance for it on second reading Thursday evening. The first reading of the budget ordinance was held Sept. 12.
