- 12:24 p.m. Friday - Phillip Todd Besser, 43, Muncie, arrested for theft. No bond set.

- 12:44 p.m. Friday - Marlon Donel Reese, 19, Muncie, arrested for theft. No bond set.

- 12:48 p.m. Friday - Charles Wendell Yates, 27, Marion, arrested for battery. No bond set.

- 1:04 a.m. Friday - Robinson Lake Road, 2,500 feet north of CR 150S, Pierceton. SUV hit deer. Driver: Barbara E. Kintzel, 59, Robinson Lake Road, Pierceton. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

- 11:20 a.m. Friday - Ind. 13N and Harkless Drive, Syracuse. Two-car collision. Drivers: Judith D. Biebesheimer, 61, Lady Lake, Fla.; Fred C. Goshert, 59, King Arthur Road, Syracuse. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

Kosciusko County Council wrapped up the county’s 2025 budget by adopting the ordinance for it on second reading Thursday evening. The first reading of the budget ordinance was held Sept. 12.
