The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

n 9:27 a.m. Wednesday - Shaun Michael Church, 33, New Paris, arrested for resisting/fleeing law enforcement and public intoxication. Bond: $500.

n 10:14 a.m. Wednesday - Alice Earlene Rider, 77, of 8299 E. Backwater Road, North Webster, arrested for conversion. Bond: $500.

n 3:31 p.m. Wednesday - Jeffrey Blake Delong, 18, of 305 W. Pearl St., Syracuse, arrested for leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. Bond: $300.

n 11:04 p.m. Wednesday - Bridger Vernon Abshire, 35, Goshen, arrested for burglary. Bond: $5,000.

n 1:18 a.m. today - Samuel David Stidams, 29, New Cartersville, Ga., arrested on four counts of failure to appear and theft-shoplifting. Bond: $2,000.

n 10:20 p.m. Saturday - Syracuse-Webster Road, 1,300 feet south of CR 1000N, North Webster. Car hit deer. Driver: Trent M. Barrett, 17, CR 600N, North Webster. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.

n 11:24 a.m. Wednesday - Intersection of Ind. 15S and Main Street, Warsaw. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Carol K. Hoffer, 77, Hovey Street, Warsaw; David R. Forrester, 46, Columbia City. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
