n 9:23 a.m. Wednesday – Shawn M. Baga, 22, of 704 N. Ind. 19, Akron, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $750.
n 11:45 a.m. Wednesday – Paul D. McCarthy, 33, of 10496 S. Pleasant St., Silver Lake, arrested for driving while license suspended. Bond: $1,000.
n 12:05 p.m. Wednesday – Kayla J. Losee, 19, of 801 S. Elm St., Nappanee, arrested for receiving stolen property. Bond: $1,000.
n 12:30 p.m. Wednesday – Colleen I. Reavis, 42, of 313 Turkey Creek Drive, Milford, arrested on a warrant for another agency. No bond set.
n 12:41 p.m. Wednesday – Gabriel D. Marroquin, 34, of 3699 N. CR 175E, Lot 75, Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years of age. Bond: $2,000.
n 1:17 p.m. Wednesday – Joshua J. Golden, 33, of 717 E. Market St., Warsaw, arrested for dealing a schedule I substance to a person less than 18, at a school/public park/housing complex. Bond: $20,000.
n 2:35 p.m. Wednesday – Dakoda G. Landis, 22, of 873 Carrington Blvd., Warsaw, arrested for burglary. No bond set.
n 2:44 p.m. Wednesday – Michael A. Cavender, 47, Kimmell, arrested for criminal conversion and battery. Bond: $1,000.
n 3:15 p.m. Wednesday – James D. Heeter, 56, of 653 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, arrested for failure to comply. Bond: $600.
n 4:45 a.m. Thursday – Mika J. Shepherd, 35, of 208 W. Walnut St., Claypool, arrested for resisting arrest with vehicle with injury, failure to appear and driving while license suspended. Bond: $53,000.

n 12:10 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Center and Hickory streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Judy A. Parkison, 74, CR 200S, Warsaw; Christopher M. Long, 35, Harris Street, Bourbon. Damages: $5,000-$10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
n 12:13 a.m. Thursday – CR 200N, 60 feet east of CR 525E, Warsaw. Vehicle struck deer. Driver: Zachariah A. Corp, 21, Larwill. Damages: $2,500-$5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
