 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 9:27 a.m. Thursday – Juan Sanchez-Ortiz, 33, Ligonier, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $183.50.
• 2 p.m. Thursday – Jeffrey Allen Brown, 32, of 340 E. Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.
• 2:54 p.m. Thursday – Austin Allan Pinkerton, 22, Elkhart, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $268.
• 4:43 p.m. Thursday – Kassidy Anne Cobbs, 30, of 2537 Parent Drive, Warsaw, arrested on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $500.
• 5:16 p.m. Thursday – Aaron Walter Burchett, 27, of West Old 30, Lot 702, Warsaw, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.
• 7:13 p.m. Thursday – Maudie May Roberts, 34, of 7881 E. CR 500S, Pierceton, arrested for disorderly conduct. Bond: $600.
• 8:34 p.m. Thursday – Jamie Lynn Hall, 30, of 351 N. 3rd St., Liberty Mills, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.
• 11:08 p.m. Thursday – Dustin Will Wright, 25, of 8899 E. Black Point Road, Apt. B., Syracuse, arrested for domestic battery, resisting law enforcement and strangulation. Bond: $6,250.

• 4:04 p.m. Thursday – 3660 Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Vehicle hit parked car registered  to Bryan C. Mendenhall, CR 525 South, Claypool. Driver: Unknown. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

Incidents
• 11:29 a.m. Thursday – An individual reported the theft of a Shop-Vac and a trailer hitch with ball from their front yard in the 700 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.
• 4:32 p.m. Thursday – An individual reported an accidental firearm discharge in the 500 block of Chinworth Court, Warsaw. WPD.
• 6:30 p.m. Thursday – An individual reported fraud at a residence in the 1500 block of CR 550 West, Warsaw. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
