 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 9:58 a.m. Monday – Sebastian Elijah Hoskins, 24, of 505 Prairie Drive, Syracuse, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.
• noon Monday – Susan T. Borntrager, 39, of 10240 N. CR 425W, Milford, arrested for theft over $50,000. No bond set.
• 5:41 p.m. Monday – Rhashon Kamal Wells, 27, of 124 Canterbury Lane, Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $400.
• 6:17 p.m. Monday – John Edward Mattson V, 27, of 342 N. Main St., Apt. C, North Webster, arrested for possession of marijuana. No bond set.
• 9:07 p.m. Monday – Aden Andrew  Merchant, 19, of 520 Panorama Drive, North Webster, arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bond: $400.
• 10:01 p.m. Monday – Maddi Lyn Elion, 18, of 21 EMS T7 Lane, Leesburg, arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bond: $400. .
• 10:15 p.m. Monday – Jazlyn Anastacia  Gehlhausen, 18, of 524 Panorama Drive, North Webster, arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bond: $400.

Accidents
• 10:07 a.m. Monday – Intersection of North CR 850E and North Hoss Hill Road, North Webster. Driver fell asleep while driving and vehicle ran off the road. Driver: Cevan J. Green, 20, North Hoss Hill Road, North Webster. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. North Webster Police Department investigated.

Incidents
• 4:01 a.m. Monday – A Syracuse man reported auto theft in the 300 block of North Main Street, Syracuse. Value: $500. Syracuse Police Department Investigated.
• 2:34 p.m. Monday – An employee of Culver’s restaurant reported receiving a counterfeit $20 bill. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 3:33 p.m. Monday – A Warsaw woman reported criminal mischief and a delinquent act at the 300 block of Inverness Point, Warsaw. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD investigated.[[In-content Ad]]
