 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 3:55 p.m. Saturday – Jamie Lynn Helm, 39, of 216 N. Walnut St, #4, Etna Green, arrested for illegal sale of wildlife. Bond: $500.
• 10:08 p.m. Saturday – Richard Lee Martin, Jr, 33, of 419 S. Indiana St, Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended and failure to appear. Bond: $517.
• 12:21 a.m. Sunday – Walter David Hawthorne II, 41, of 2981 W. CR 200S, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and driving while suspended. Bond: $5,250.
• 1:14 a.m. Sunday – Sheena Marie Spears, 25, of 3699 N. CR 175E, #143, Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child under 16. Bond: $5,250.
• 1:48 a.m. Sunday – Robert Gordon Wyatt, 24, of 6873 S. Ind. 15, Claypool, arrested for battery on law enforcement. Bond: $5,250.
• 3:44 p.m. Sunday – Julie Anne Baker, 18, of 1316 Monroe St., Rochester, arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bond: $400.
• 3:44 p.m. Sunday – Sarah Irene Amich, 19, West Lafayette, arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bond: $400.
• 4:12 p.m. Sunday – Jaden Erika Minks, 19, of 2107 Ball Court, Rochester, arrested for OWI with a blood alcohol content between .08 -.15. Bond: $700.
• 5:11 p.m. Sunday – Jason Lee Brant, 25, South Bend, arrested for OWI. Bond: $700.
• 5:30 p.m. Sunday –  Peggy E. Brooks, 35, of 2875 E. Center St., #117, Warsaw, arrested for check deception. Bond: $225.
• 7:08 p.m. Sunday – Kaleb Hobbs, 24, of 4267 S. Scott Road, Claypool, arrested for dealing meth and false informing. Bond: $600.
• 9:20 p.m. Sunday – Lorena Mariana Sonora, 21, Goshen, arrested for battery on a child under 14 and battery with serious bodily injury. Bond: $10,250.
• 12:04 a.m. Monday – Humberto Arebalo Coria, 38, South Bend, arrested for OWI. Bond: $700.
• 2:30 a.m. Monday – Brandy Lynn Ross, 39,of 6706 N. CR 500E, Syracuse, arrested for disorderly conduct. Bond: $500.

• 5:38 a.m. Saturday – Intersection of CRs East 1300N and North 150E, Milford. Car swerved to avoid deer and hit utility pole. Driver: Dustin S. Jansma, 25, North CR 450E, Leesburg. Injuries: Jansma complained of back pain. Damages: $10,000 to $25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
• 7:40 p.m. Saturday – 315 N. Detroit St, Warsaw. Vehicle hit pedestrian: Driver: Casey M. Dunn, 19, Oakwood Drive, Warsaw. Pedestrian: Brian L. Kern, 15, Harbour Landing Drive, Syracuse. Injuries: Kern complained of knee, lower leg and foot pain. Damages: Under $750. Warsaw Police Department investigated

• 2:11 p.m. Saturday – Intersection of South Detroit and East Market Streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Melissa K. Leal, 19, North CR 300E, Milford; Jose C. Lopez, 53, Wooster Road, Warsaw. Damages: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD investigated.

• 3:10 p.m. Saturday – A Warsaw man reported a theft in the 100 block of West Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. WPD investigated.
• 5:21 p.m. Saturday – An employee of Kohl’s Department Store reported a theft in the Warsaw store. WPD investigated.
• 1:55 a.m. Sunday – A suicide attempt was reported in the 500 block of North Park Avenue, Warsaw. WPD investigated.
• 2:40 a.m. Sunday – A Warsaw man reported an individual carrying a handgun without a license in a bar in the 1700 block of West Lake Street, Warsaw. WPD investigated.
• 12:45 p.m. Sunday – A North Webster man found property in the 600 block of North Main Street, North Webster. The owner was located and property returned. North Webster Police Department investigated.[[In-content Ad]]
