The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
- 12:13 p.m. Wednesday – Melissa Duty, 30, Fort Wayne, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $300.
- 12:28 pm. Wednesday – Daniel Anderson, 25, of 701 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $500.
- 3:44 p.m. Wednesday – Michael Stacy, 41, of 423 W. Broadway St., Etna Green, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
- 4:11 p.m. Wednesday – Daniel Stiles, 53, of 512 W. Jackson St., Mentone, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $1,000.
- 5:58 p.m. Wednesday – James Rodak, 18, of 406 W. Hillside Drive, Syracuse, arrested for minor possession/consumption and criminal trespassing. Bond $300.
- 7:14 p.m. Wednesday – Glenn Burkett, 46, of 5859 King Fisher Drive, Mentone, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
- 7:29 p.m. Wednesday – Zebulen Dotsen, 34, of 727 E. Smith St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while intoxicated. Bond: $550.
- 10:58 p.m. Wednesday – John Salisbury, 22, of 1108 E. Clark St., Warsaw, arrested for visiting a common nuisance. Bond: $350.
- 11:04 p.m. Wednesday – Robert Ditton, 39, of 1108 E. Clark St., Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana. Bond: $450.
- 1:56 a.m. Thursday – Tracie Williams, 29, Niceville, Fla., arrested for probation violation. Bond: $500.

Personal Injury Accidents
- 4:09 p.m. Tuesday –  Intersection of Ind. 15S and Center Street, Warsaw. Three-vehicle collision. Drivers: Melissa Sorensen, 17, North CR 175E, Warsaw; Jonathan Ashby, 37, South Wood Street, Warsaw; Roger Laird, 62, Ranch Road, Warsaw. Injuries: Michael Ashby, 10, South Wood Street, Warsaw, a passenger in Ashby’s vehicle, complained of neck pain; Ashby complained of neck pain. Damage: $10,000 to $25,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

Property Damage Accidents
- 7:30 a.m. Tusday – Intersection of South Hand Street and Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Joanna Surma, 28, West 12th Street, Winona Lake, was struck by an unknown vehicle. Damage: less than $1,000.  WPD.
- 9:51 a.m. Wednesday – 300 W. Market St., Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Steven Foster, 59, East CR 75N, Warsaw; Delmar Johnson, 51, West Hummingbird Drive, Mentone. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.

- 12:03 a.m. May 15 – A woman reported criminal mischief in the 4400 block of North CR 850E, Leesburg. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
- 12:25 a.m. Sunday – A man reported strangulation in the 11500 block of North Grandview Drive, Syracuse. KCSD.
- 4 p.m. Monday – A woman reported a theft in the 300 block of East Prairie Street, Warsaw. WPD.
- 7:30 a.m. Wednesday  – A woman reported a theft at EMS D23 Lane, Milford. KCSD.
- 8 a.m. Wednesday – A woman reported a theft in the 1600 block of East CR 200N, Warsaw. KCSD.
- 12:15 p.m. Wednesday – A man reported intimidation in the 200 block of West Main Street, Warsaw. WPD.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
