 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 9:28 a.m. Friday – Aerial Brook Gilbert, 28, of 4522 N. CR 700W, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $10,000.
• 2:04 p.m. Friday – Albert Rashun Carter, 24,  Benton Harbor, Mich., was arrested for failure to appear. No bond.
• 2:23 p.m. Friday – Christopher Lee Langley, 33, Plymouth, was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender. Bond: $50,000.

• 7:44 a.m. Friday – Intersection of Sheldon Street and Pero Drive, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Daven P. Gasaway, 18, North 2nd Street, Warsaw; Stephanie Bonilla, 19, North High Lane, Leesburg. Damages: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 5:06 p.m. Friday – Intersection of North Ind. 13 and North Channel Drive, North Webster. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Emily A. Allen, 19, North Village Drive, Leesburg; Mikel Neer, 55, EMS B40 Lane, Leesburg. Damages: $5,000 to $10,000. North Webster Police Department investigated.

NORTH MANCHESTER – At Wednesday night's meeting, the North Manchester Town Council voted to award the Manchester Early Learning Center (MELC) the requested $25,000 toward the Center's efforts. This is a reduced request from 2024.
